Scotland goalkeeper and captain Gemma Fay won her first cap aged 16 in a 1-1 European Championship qualifying draw against Czech Republic in 1998.
She has been a Scotland stalwart ever since, and was named captain by national coach Anna Signeul at the start of the 2009 Cyprus Women’s Cup. She picked up her 100th cap in the final match of the tournament, a 2-1 victory over Russia. She reached the 150-cap milestone in the UEFA Women's Euro 2013 play-off second leg against Spain in Madrid in October 2012.
In the lead up the Euros, Gemma transferred from Glasgow City to Icelandic club Stjarnan.
